HSM GmbH + Co. KG is a leading German company founded by Hermann Schwelling, specializing for over 50 years in the production of equipment for shredding, compressing, packaging, and environmentally responsible waste management. Headquartered in Frickingen, Germany, the company operates three modern production facilities in Germany and has subsidiaries in six countries, supplying its products to more than 100 nations worldwide. HSM employs around 820 people, with approximately 7% being trainees, reflecting its commitment to developing new generations of technical specialists.

HSM maintains the highest standards of quality and environmental responsibility, certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. All equipment is produced under the “Made in Germany” principle, ensuring precision, reliability, and long service life. The production sites in Salem, Frickingen, and Reichenbach manufacture office shredders, vertical and horizontal balers, and complete waste-handling systems. These plants are equipped with CNC laser cutting systems, robotic welding machines, and solar-powered facilities, achieving CO₂-neutral manufacturing and combining innovation with sustainability.
