Combi Flex shrink wrap machine is designed with an emphasis on ease of use and durability. Among the main advantages is easy access to all service positions, which greatly simplifies maintenance. The number of moving parts is reduced to a minimum, which increases the reliability of the equipment. The machine is capable of effectively shrinking film with a thickness of 40 to 200 microns, in addition, the Quattro chain frame suspension technology is implemented, which reduces frame wear and ensures a long service life.

In terms of reliability, the Combi Flex has a unique combined vacuum and mechanical film opening system, which allows it to work effectively with various types of film. Tension control is guaranteed to prevent cases when pallets leave the machine without film, and the positioning of the optional film ensures its uniform placement during operation.

In terms of safety and service, the machine is equipped with individual gas pressure control systems for each of the four guns. Profile control is also implemented for even greater work efficiency. Likewise, maintenance is simplified by the absence of the need for tools, as all important components are easily accessible.

In addition, the Combi Flex is robust and efficient: the reduction in film waste and energy consumption demonstrates high environmental standards. The compact design, which reduces the machine’s dimensions in length and width, makes it ideal for limited production spaces. With an expected service life of at least 20 years, this machine is a good investment in production.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

1. One machine with frame, featuring a four-column QCS (Quatro Chain frame Suspension) system for vertical frame movement. Four chain mechanisms lift the shrink frame, preventing torque wear on moving parts.
2. One opening system, consisting of four mobile suction boxes for efficient film unfolding, and four locking units for mechanical fixation of the film during the opening procedure.
3. Four film grippers designed to fully open, hold and apply the film.
4. Film application control system, ensuring precise film application to the load. The shrinking process is not activated if the film has not been successfully applied to the load.
5. Film lid blowing system, including fans to raise air into the exhaust during application, allowing for a contactless exhaust application effect.
6. One shrinking frame with a burner system, consisting of four burner units to ensure an optimal gas/air ratio, leading to reduced gas consumption. It also includes gas and air pressure adjustment, as well as four blowers, which ensure uniform shrinkage of all four sides and the top of the load.
7. Movable heat protection device, designed to protect the film of the next pallet from escaping heat. This is an innovative invention by Lahenmaer.
8. Automatic measurement of the pallet load height by photocells before feeding into the machine.
9. One film feeding device designed for the production of film cap. It includes film feeding rollers, double sealing system and film cutter. Magnetic sealing and cutting system allows for quick replacement of worn parts.
10. Pallet profile control during film application. If the pallet load is not properly sealed or moves during transport, the machine stops and reports an error on the operator panel.
11. One chain conveyor built into the machine. Pallets must be centered within +/- 1 cm before feeding into the machine, the conveyor length corresponds to the length of the machine.
12. One lifting device with fan for optimal pallet bottom shrinkage. Well-done pallet bottom shrinkage ensures a secure grip between the load and the pallet, which contributes to stability.
13. One stand for a film roll with a maximum diameter of 1000 mm. Adjustable photocells signal the remaining film, and the response message is displayed on the operator panel.
14. The service platform with railings, located on the top of the machine, provides easy access for replacing worn parts in the film feeding module. It is equipped with a ladder included in the basic equipment, with safe access framed by a safety fence.
15. One control panel with a programmable PLC of the S7 series, having a main switch, an emergency stop, control buttons and a display for easier diagnostics of faults or manual control of the machine. It complies with CE, EN / IEC standards.
16. Safety wire fence located at a predetermined safety distance around the machine.
17. Category 4 personal safety photocells, which are installed at the entrance and exit of the machine. They stop the machine if personnel try to enter the machine area through the entry or exit channel, thus ensuring the maximum level of safety.
The machines are designed in accordance with a number of international CE directives:
- Machinery Directive - 2006 (06/42/EC)
- EMC Directive - 2004 (04/108/EC)
- Low Voltage Directive - 2006 (06/95/EC)
According to international CE directives, the above-mentioned safety equipment must be installed when the machine is put into operation, and not later than the specified date. If you do not want our safety equipment to be included in the delivery, please note that in this case you must provide equivalent safety equipment yourself.
18. Teleservice (programmable S7 processor) allows our service team to analyze faults and make minor changes to the program via modem. Included in the price: Rex 300 and cable, as well as Ethernet Internet connection.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

The machine is completely safe when using gas parts. Therefore, the gas equipment and burners system has the following safety measures:
- Gas pressure control, ensuring a stable pressure level throughout the process.
- Safety valve, which mechanically controls the gas pressure and automatically shuts off the supply when the permissible values ​​​​are exceeded.
- Gas supply is carried out through two valves located in series for additional safety.
- Individual monitoring of all four burners with a built-in device that stops the gas supply if there is a problem with the illumination of one of the burners or even if it fails during operation.
- Use only hot air for shrinkage.
- Monitoring the speed of movement of the frame with automatic shutdown of the gas supply in case of its unintentional stop.
- Time control, monitoring the duration of monitoring during all stages of shrinkage - from the top, bottom and common part of the cycle. The machine automatically stops when the set parameters are exceeded.
- Air supply control, providing primary and secondary flows, ensuring efficient combustion and cooling of the burners.
- Profile control during extraction, to control contact between the load and the burners.
Film use control, which ensures that the shrinkage process does not start if the product is not covered by the hood, and prevents contact between the film and the burners.
