The Lector85x camera-based code reader is designed to provide a very high degree of reading reliability and an equally high throughput. The small camera has a resolution of up to 12 megapixels, a very large depth of field and field of view, and very high computing power. For the reading units, this means a compact design, as well as smaller devices and lower installation costs. In combination with segmentation based on II, the camera reliably identifies codes even at transport speeds of up to 3.5 m/s and correctly provides the codes to the objects. This ensures the efficiency of identification processes and significantly reduces additional manual handling. The Lector85x can be configured via a web server in an intuitive way and is ready to use within minutes – and no special knowledge is required.
A single Lector8509 camera completely covers all the requirements of the technical specification and has a very high performance.
Just one attention to the point of the minimum distance between the boxes. A minimum distance of 50 mm is recommended for the optical trigger to separate objects.
