Acrylic tape is well suited for use in standard temperature conditions from 0°C to +30°C. Its advantages include good adhesion (4N/cm), which ensures reliable attachment to various surfaces. Transparent or brown acrylic duct tape is most often used for packaging boxes with ordinary goods that do not require special resistance to storage conditions.

- Synthetic rubber (Hot-melt) - this type of duct tape is much stronger and more reliable compared to acrylic. Thanks to the synthetic rubber base, it provides a high level of frost resistance and moisture resistance. It reliably retains its properties at temperatures from -25°C to +40°C, which makes it an ideal choice for packaging goods stored in cold or poorly heated warehouses. This duct tape is especially popular in the food industry for transporting frozen products.

- Natural rubber (Solvent) is the most durable and strong option for packaging duct tape. Scotch tape with natural rubber provides extremely reliable adhesion to the surface even in extreme low temperature conditions. Due to its high wear resistance, it can withstand even adverse weather conditions, making it ideal for use in winter or for storing goods in open areas. This tape is an excellent choice for packaging large or heavy loads that require reliable fixation.

Selecting the right thickness of duct tape
One of the important parameters when choosing packaging duct tape is its thickness. This indicator determines the strength and wear resistance of the tape, which affects its ability to withstand the load during transportation and storage:

- 40 microns - this duct type of tape is suitable for household use and packaging products in lightweight corrugated cardboard boxes. This thickness provides sufficient strength for storing light loads.

- 45 microns - this duct tape has proven itself in the food industry due to its sufficient frost resistance. It is suitable for packaging goods that can be exposed to moderately low temperatures.

- 50 microns - the strongest version of adhesive duct tape, providing high frost resistance. This duct tape is ideal for packaging large and heavy loads, as it provides reliable fixation under heavy loads.

Temperature resistance of packaging duct tapes
Adhesive tapes with different adhesive bases have different temperature ranges of use. This is an important factor when choosing tape for specific conditions:

- Acrylic base works best at temperatures from 0°C to +30°C, which is suitable for packaging goods stored under normal conditions.
- Synthetic rubber demonstrates high frost resistance and retains its properties at temperatures from -25°C to +40°C, making it optimal for cold warehouses or transportation of products that require storage at low temperatures.
